Long time no see

My mother is coming into town in the next few weeks. Very excited seeing I just moved into a new place, and haven't seen her in a couple months. My parents are also coming down for Christmas this year, and it will be the first time my dad will see the new place. mmmm I can wait for Christmas. Hopefully it will snow here as much as it did last year! For people here, they were like ahh I doesn't snow here at all, and if it does it warms up by morning and the little snow is gone. Well, let me tell them, they are liars. We got so many feet of snow last year, I personally was in heaven (being from New England). Everyone was highly amazed by the snow, and they don't drive so well in it. Thank god I had my Jeep, got me through everything. But this year I will in fact have to shovel my drive way off, not too bad its not a big drive way. It will be Luna's second Christmas and Willie Mase's First Christmas. I will buy a Christmas tree this year, and put it next to my fire place.. he he .. Here are some photos of my beautiful animals...

The reason for the post, I thought I would update a little about whats been going on. The Balloon Fiesta is coming here in a week. The my mother comes that following week, and then it HALLOWEEN!

The Picture above is the Journal Pavilion that I went to the other night for s STYX concert. They are a 1970s rock band, that was the first rock band to have four consecutive platinum Cd's. Interesting fact. They were really good, we heard Come Sail Away, and Don't be a Fool. We didn't stay for The Scorpians though.

I am working alot latley trying to save up some money, I am like an ant. I am getting ready to store up for winter. lol.

Things are picking up....

Finally.

So Its now, the middle of September, and here its not getting cold yet. I can't wait for the fall. Anyways, things are picking up, I have had about 5 very big auditions in the past 4 weeks. I got to audition yesterday for a huge casting director here, so I was nervous but I was very prepared! There is about 10 projects filming here right now, Scarlett Jo will be here next month filming her new movie along with other actors to be filming their own films, such as; Christian Slater, Christopher Walken and Val Kilmer. I guess Charlize Theron is also coming back here to film in the coming months. Busy Busy state.

I haven't been good keeping this thing updated. Its probably not going to get updated often anymore unless there is big news to follow. I am going to do a monthly update, so once September is over, I will recap September. Taking one month at a time instead of a day to day basis, which is hard for me to make time for.

My website is also going to be under construction. There is going to be a new layout only offering Filmography, Press, Media, and Contact. Shortening alot of stuff I don't really need, which is why I have a myspace (for the rest of the stuff). Although there will be no link from my website to my myspace for personal reasons and safety. I am going to professionalize my website more than it is right now, sometimes I don't even want a website. Its just too much at times, and there really isn't much to follow, so its just going to be for business personal only and some personal fans.

I will be also creating a new email, loosing the other two that I have at the moment, and condensing it to just one. So no one will be able to follow my last two emails and my personal information. My one email will only be for business, website, submissions, IMDB and other acting related work, and it will only be given out accordingly.

I am condensing alot of my stuff this month, in regards to my career and how professional I really want to make it. The booking goes to my agent, and my manager (my mom :) ). I will still be the in between and submitting and the one to mail contact for a job not agent related, but I am trying to limit the projects I do at this point.

For acting work: I can no longer do projects that are no pay. I have for years not been able to say no, and have worked with no pay. Well the time has come to say goodbye to that work and work on a higher SAG level, that I have worked for. I will be only submitting for jobs that offer SAG level bugets, good scripts, and a good crew to back it up. I am no longer going to be non-union. I have loved my non-union work I have had in the past, its what got me to where I am today, but it has to stop sometimes and move to higher ground, and today is that cut off point.

Somepeople who are SAG could not work for months even years. But then have a really good audition. Its the level that you aquire to play at, and every actor should play at it once they achieve it.

Keep it going..

Okay, I have failed to update. I have been moving.

Lets rewind to the auditions last week (Aug 30th and 31st). The audition for the feature my agent got me went well, it was a new casting director to the area, so its always good to be in front of new people. The audition for Ed Harris's next film, went well. It was about a hour and half drive away, and there was no parking, which made it a little harder. I had to walk about 2 or three blocks to where the audition was taking place, I have a big blister to show for it (wearing dumb heels of course).

anyways, I have moved into a house between auditions. I love it, its thee perfect size house with tons of free roaming room. Its packed with boxes at the very moment but I feel by the weekend it should be mostly unpacked.

We moved all day yesterday, and finished about 3 this morning, to get back up at 8:30 to finish unloading the uhaul. I hate moving. I don't mind the unpacking part, but being on the second floor in the apartment that made it rather difficult. I slept good last night, that was a first.

I have a couple more auditions coming up, things are picking up slowly again. I am not complaining. I also turned down a film the other day, I said No, yes I said it. I am being really choosy choosy latley in what films I am being apart of, and now being SAG leaves me no choice to be choosey. New post soon, I promise!

Translation to the interview

Danielle Lozeau plays the part of a Hero student in the Pilot of The Sarah Connor Chronicles. She has in fact turned in the scene which makes much speak about her following the events of Virginia Tech. Besides she will undergo perhaps cuts here and there. The actress had the kindness to answer the questions of
TheSarahConnorChronicles.fr and let us thank we it.

TheSarahConnorChronicles.fr: What do you feelto form part of a project as ambitious as The Sarah Connor Chronicles?

Danielle Lozeau: I enjoyed everyday working on set. Each day spent on the plate was rather intense and all was new and exciting. I adored to work with director David Nutter and his incredible team and the other actors. Everyone had to offer so much to the series and I think that the result is rather good.

TheSarahConnorChronicles.fr: How did your casting for the pilot episode occur?

Danielle Lozeau: I was retained for the role at the end of last December and I started to work on it at the beginning of January. I auditioned with the director of casting and David Nutter. A few days after, he called my agent to ask whether I would form part of the pilot. It was my first project in New Mexico at this time, since I had just moved in.

TheSarahConnorChronicles.fr: One can see you in an incredible scene of this episode in which Cromartie is made pass for a professor. Owain Yeoman which plays the part of Cromartie has the really malicious air in this scene. How was it between the catches?

Danielle Lozeau: It was brilliant to work with Owain Yeoman! It gives so much in front of to the camera in the role of the terminator and it plays so well. In slides, Owain is somebody who was very easy to start a conversation with, very nice to be around.

TheSarahConnorChronicles.fr: In this scene, you were to show yourselves completely frightened. Which were the instructions of David Nutter?

Danielle Lozeau:
The instructions that David Nutter gave us for the scenes were "This type leaves its weapon to aim John Connor, and I want to see you frightened, I want to see you shouting and I want that you precipitate on the ground to leave the free field. Panic when you see the leg of the terminator. I want that you look it with dislike of the kind ' What it is that that?' You had never seen such a thing before and you are afraid, you are confused and in a state of shock ".

TheSarahConnorChronicles.fr:
I intended to say that this scene could be censured because of what occurred to Virginia Tech. Do you know if it will act of all the scene or right some parts?

Danielle Lozeau: According to information which I have, the scenes in the classroom with Terminator were thus censured it will remain only some parts about it. Much of what was turned will be cut. When the Pilot is diffused, we will see what will really remain.

TheSarahConnorChronicles.fr: The tragedy of Virginia Tech took place after the turning of this episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Knowing what you had you turned in this scene of the Pilot, how reacted when you learned this tragedy last April?

Danielle Lozeau: In fact, I had never really associated the series with the tragedy of Virginia Tech. Shooting was done in several times thus I had not had the occasion to see the complete version of the Pilot until approximately two months ago. The tragedy of Virginia Tech was really very hard to accept. Being in college, it hit home. my prayers and heart go out to all of those
families.

TheSarahConnorChronicles.fr: Which is your best memory on the Pilot?

Danielle Lozeau: The best moment I had during the pilot, was one of
the scenes that ended up getting cut, but the scene where my desk exploded. They had put an explosive under my desk. The explosive was to go off when the terminator starts shooting at John Connor, and I was told to get out of the desk as soon as the first shot was fired and the second shot was when it was to blow up. I had to leap onto the floor and cover my head.

TheSarahConnorChronicles.fr: After this Pilot, do you know if we will re-examine you in other episodes of the series?

Danielle Lozeau: I am not sure if the scenes I did will actually make the show, because most of the school stuff was being cut due to the Virginia Tech Shootings. I do hope something does make it in the end, but I do
understand the reasons to most of it being cut. I dont know if I will appear in any other of the episodes, it could happen, if they decide to use the other footage later down the road. We will have to see on that.

TheSarahConnorChronicles.fr: Your last project under development (at least I think that it was the last) is "The Eye" at the sides of Jessica Alba and Parker Posey. Can you say some to us more on your role?

Danielle Lozeau: Yes! This project came just after The Sarah Connor Chronicles. My role in this film intervenes at the end of film but I cannot to really say, you'll have to wait and see. I can statement that I speak with Jessica Alba in the scene and that carries out to much suspense and action! I spent a very good moment working with Jessica Alba and Alessandro Nivola as well as the two incredible directors David Moreau and Xavier Palud. The weather was very cold when we turned because we shot at night and it was at the beginning of March. The film should be in theatres on February 1, 2008!

TheSarahConnorChronicles.fr : Interview exclusive de Danielle Lozeau (1x01 - Pilot)

Date : 2 Sept. 2007

Source : Sarah Connor Chronicles

On verra...
